Flight 5 one sheet picture
Flight 5 Live is an independently run New York Jets focused web show and network that specializes in on-air video broadcasting and social media engagement. Running on the slogan “By Fans, For Fans” we value expressing and highlighting all New York Jet fan opinion, and strongly encourage open dialogue between fans and popular figures within the community. Our show is not only the #1 featured show on the #1 internet network in the tri-state area (Zedalza Entertainment Network), but the most engaging community of Jets fans on the web.
Flight 5 reflects a combination of the New York Jets franchise (Flight) and the number five (5), which represents our hosts (4) + our fan network (1) = 5. Flight 5.
Flight 5 is on a mission to become the most relevant New York Jet fan network  and show in the Country. We want to be voice of the New York Jets Fan Base, and we only strive to be best. Simple and Great is our company motto.
We at Flight 5 are huge New York Jets fans and our true goal is to give the microphone back to fans, so we combined the two ideas and created Flight 5. We constantly see traditional networks doing their best to silence fan communities, while simultaneously trying to cover too many sports teams and thus alienating their most active followers. Flight 5 believes that niched content is the next generation of sports media; the larger a network casts its net, the less impact it can have in the die-hard fan community. Most fans in NY do not follow all of the Knicks, Yankees, Mets, Rangers, Islanders, Nets etc… and it is extremely rare to be well versed on every NY team. Thus by focusing on just the New York Jets, we will establish an extremely supportive and interested audience that wants just Jets.
Flight 5 streams live from 7-8pm on Friday nights, across at least 3 website mediums: Flight5Live.com, ZenLive.tv, and FloppingOut.com. Our shows are archived on this website, so you can catch them anytime throughout the week. We were also approved by Cablevision, and can be seen on Public Access, Monday nights, in the Westchester, NY area.
